Soooooo... all my warriors are done with their written exam. Well I must congratulate you because today you have faced the first stage of your exam and you will definitely clear this first stage of selection procedure. My best wishes are with you..
Always remember dear friends past is past now move forward . If you haven't done well then plzzzzzzzzzzzzz find out where you lacked and improve that side.So that next time you score very good marks. I expect that , if you will score 150+ then you will find your name in the selection list. But that's just a passing mark. Now you have to perform very well in your SSB because now your target is to get recommended and compensate your less written examination marks. SSB will play a very major and important role in your selection.
Those who are confirmed and confident that they will get marks in between 220+ then you can consider your self in a bit safe position. Get recommended and clear your medicals . Your job is almost done but if your luck factor is too negative then anything can happen.
Now for those , in fact the majority ones who will score in between 160 - 200, You must remember that you have applied for July course and ... And July course has a great reputation for breaking the dream and heart of recommended and medically FIT candidates.
Start preparing for your SSB very very seriously if you haven't started it yet. Interview is very ,very, very,.......n important. So start preparing for the exam. My one friend got PC in AE(L) for July course and he only scored 152 marks in AFCAT , this is just an example . He performed extraordinarily in his SSB. If he can do it then you can also do it.

Do they display marks too at the time of results.
Last is i read this info in the Indian ArMY fANS group that for the final merit list of AFCAT 40% marks are taken from your written and 60% marks from your SSB.
Question here is that 40% they are taking from your total in written or from passing 40% from the total marks of the paper.
Dear Anuj , No one actually knows that how much marks from written and SSB is taken in to consideration. Ratio of 40:60 seems to be not possible. Ratio generally got changed with exams it's different for CDS, NDA , AFCAT..etc. BUT ONE THING IS SURE THAT THE MARKS OF SSB ALWAYS DOMINATE ON WRITTEN MARKS... Now forget your written exam just prepare for SSB..

ReplyDeleteBeacuse of UES entry. Those who are selected through UES in january and july , they get also get admitted in july only + AFCAT entries.So maximun got merit out because of less number of seats but in january only and only AFCAT candidates get admitted so less competition..
ReplyDeletePankaj if you are recommended for flying through AFCAT and you are also medically FIT then 90% your way is clear but seats are less. if you didn't get flying then also you are may get other branches like tech and GDOC.
