Inspirational : Why Pappu was so angry with SSB procedures?

One day my friend pappu called me. He was very angry and just said come to my place as soon as possible. I rushed to his place. In his room we  ( me , pappu and Thumps- up 1 liter)  were very tensed . I started the conversation -

Me -    What is the matter?
Pappu- I got screened out. ( took 15ml neat)
Me - What!!!!!!! It's not possible.
Pappu -I know its not possible but that's the truth.

Before moving forward we should know the history of pappu . Pappu is a b.tech student. Appeared 4 time in SSB.

1st Attempt - Conference Out.
2nd Attempt - Recommended but merit out. ( from "xyz" SSB) for AFCAT
3rd Attempt - Conference Out ( from the same "xyz" SSB ) CDS
4th Attempt - Screen Out.

Pappu - Yaar tell me one thing what is the meaning of " whether you have it or not". I got conference out in my 1st attempt it means " I DO NOT HAVE IT". I got recommended in my second attempt it means now " I HAVE IT" . I got conference out in my 3rd attempt in means " AGAIN I DO NOT HAVE IT". and in my 4th attempt  i got screen out it means " I VERY BADLY DO NOT HAVE IT".

What is all this bro?  have it , not have it ... I am so confused.. you always write article na and give guidance to aspirants,  go and write an article for those SSB's assessor and tell them. It hurt's very badly. I think even they do not know what is the meaning of this have it / not have it.( make a strong one )

Me - Pappu listen to me. It's not like that....( interrupted by pappu)

Pappu-  No, You listen to me. You do not know the truth . The truth is my father or my brother or my any     family member are not in defense services. They only select those candidates who belong to such background. You know bro. I left my job . I studied hard. I wanted to become an officer of Indian armed forces, that was my dream.I honestly prepared for my SSB's but see what is the benefit. I am screened out. .      

Me - Pappu tell me one thing , when you got recommended in your 2nd attempt than have your performed   extraordinarily?

Pappu- No. It was just , i did what at that moment was required.

Me - Pappu tell me about your current group? How was it different from your last group?

Pappu - Yaar. I got screen out. and you are asking about group. tujhe chadh gayi hai..jaa soo ja..

Me -  Ok sorry. i was asking about your that group in which you got recommended.

Pappu -  They all were cool and calm. We gave each and everyone equal opportunity to speak. We were working in group and we performed every task very well. I took initiatives in my PGT.

Me -       Ok and the group in which you got conference out.

Pappu-  Most of them were trying to dominate. There single moto was to show their superiority although they were completely blanked. They were speaking for the sake of speaking. They took initiative in  Group discussion to show our GTO that we are taking initiative. They just spoiled each and every thing. ( make this pack strongest)

Me -    So pappu how was your reaction? I mean when they tried to dominate the group or when they were             just speaking non- sense?

Pappu- I first listened but than " aadhi matha stakali re " and i also started putting my point forward more                   forcefully by raising my voice.

Me-     But pappu as far as i know you are very calm and cool guy . you always maintain your cool head even in worse conditions and that is also your positive point. You also told several times that during your interview when IO asked your positive points than you said that you always keep your temperament under control but in your GTO task you have just done opposite to that.

It means IO perceived a different image of yours and GTO perceived a different image of yours. Conflict of personality leads to rejection . As you know it very well the personality perceived by IO , Psych , and GTO and what you write about your self in Psych testing should be identical and this common personality posses all those OLQ's.

Pappu - Yaar but it depends upon conditions also. I mean that IO was very good. He mostly asked questions related to my study, family about friends, but when i got conference out that IO was asking GK questions and started asking questions on polity and history.

Me - pappu what else do you expect in an interview. You should know the basic things about your country, History , Geography , polity . You also read news paper and u know it very well the benefit you got by this exercise of reading newspaper.

Pappu - Haan Haan.. Gyan mat de.. But i do not understand how a very champooo guy got recommended?

Me-  Pappu thinking about others selection or rejection will not lead you to the academy .You just analyse your performance. what went wrong and than improve them.  That champoo guy must have performed very well in his tasks which you do not know.

Pappu - Yes i admit my behaviour was not identical in all the three testing but this time how i got screened out. Am i so bad that i couldn't even qualified screening round?

Me - Pappu . Screening round is all about having good narration and contribution in group discussion. I know its difficult to get a chance but still you have to search and speak with confidence.

Pappu - Hmmm. You are right. I will again improve my skills and will show them that yes " I HAVE IT"

My friend Pappu again called me.

Pappu - Where are u UT?

Me - I am at my home?

Pappu - come at my place as soon as possible

This time i purchased Thumbs up bottle of 2 liter. Was thinking again he is going to ask whether i have it or not. I knocked at the gate. The door was already opened.

Pappu - UT ,  "I HAVE IT". GOT RECOMMENDED IN MY 5TH ATTEMPT AND EVEN QUALIFIED MEDICALS. " PAPPU PASS HO GAYA LE DAIRYMILK KHA" .You know the officer's in SSB are so intelligent and co-operative. They really know very well , how to search a diamond ? They are alchemist. Only 2 in the batch got recommended and both of them belongs to civilian background.These SSB officers are really talented one bro...( i was just smiling)

I  hugged him. We celebrated for few hours and after that i took my bi - cycle and came back to my home. On my way back to home i was thinking about people's different reaction in different circumstances.

Well today i proudly say that my friend Pappu is in the Academy. He is under flying training in permanent commission.

Friends you all have it.. Do not ever loose hope . You all will  definitely going to make it one day, some day..
