Are you 60% , average , mediocre student??????

Those who have spent five days in a SSB knows it very well that in our dormitory we generally ask to our friends regarding their qualification's and percentage in school and colleges. I am presenting a small example of that conversation so that i can provide you better understanding -

Three member of Gokuldham Society Jaithalal, Popatlal and Tarak Mehta went for SSB interview. They qualified the screening round. Now they all are in their dormitory and Jaithalal start a conversation -

Jaithalal - Guyz dinner was just awesome na? It tasted so good. Panneer , and Gobhi . They gave two two vegetables than sweet dish ..wahhhh maza aa gaya...far much better than thepla and jalebi.

Popatlal- Jaithalal tommorow is our interview and you talking about dinner. Just Cancal this conversation and let's talk about our interview. I am very much afraid. I do not know what IO can ask. Tarak what's your qualification and percentages?

Mehta - I have completed my schooling from DPS, R.K.Puram and secured 88% in 10th and 80% in 12th. Than i went to IIT delhi and completed my graduation in Computer Science with 80%, Right now i am working with Microsoft.

Popatlal - OHHH MY GOD! I secured just 78% in 10th and 72% in 12th. I have completed my engineering from NIT only with 70% marks and i am working as a software engineer with TCS. They will surely cancel my selection.

Mehta - It's not like that Popatlal. NIT's are also very renowned and TCS is one of the famous IT firm of india. Be Positive. What about you Jaithalal.?

Jaithalal- hehehehe... Apna to aisai hi hai....chodo jaane do..( leave it)

Popatlal- No, No, jaithalal tell us. We are your friend only.

Jaithalal - Ok. I secured 61% in 10th standard from C.B.S.E. and got failed in 12th standard than my bapu jee( father ) said " jaithya you take admission in state board" and in my second attempt i secured 60%. Gave exam of IIT and AIEEE but got rank in Lakhs . So i took admission in one local government engineering college. After completing my graduation i was job less because not a single company visits our college.Than i went to pune for job search and got a job of computer operator in a small company . They were paying me 6000 per month. It was not fruitful so i left my job and started preparing for AFCAT.

Popatlal - But Jaithalal your percentage's and overall profile is very low. Aren't you afraid of that?

Jaithalal - Popuuuu marks are not the true benchmark of judging a person intellectual. Although i secured average marks but after my job , i studied hard , very hard and now my knowledge is my strongest weapon even i mentioned in my PIQ form that " i am an intellectual and knowledgeable person" . My marks shows that i was poor in study but i will proof by my knowledge that i overcome this weakness and i am just waiting for IO to ask few GK/ GS questions.

Mehta - Yes. you are right jaithalal." marks are not the true benchmark of judging a student intellectual"

Popatlal - Let's see what happens in tommorow.

After interview

Popatlal - Jaithalal what IO asked to you?

Jaithalal- He asked several questions on GK. Like On United Nations, Fundamental Rights, difference between compiler and interpreter , diff between CS and IT branch , Maldives position on india, GDP and GNP. and rest all were on my family and personal life.

Popatlal - You answered all of these questions?

Jaithalal - Yes , My hard work and knowledge paid me today. ( Bacchan uncle sahi kehte hain, Sikhna band to jitna band)

Popatlal - Did IO asked about your poor marks?

Jaithalal - Yes and i said i was more inclined towards other activities like sports, adventurous trip, etc etc and paid less attention towards study.

Popatlal - hmmm..bhai bas mein jaldi officer ban jaun fir shaadi kar lunga...



YOUR PRESENT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR PAST. WE ALL COMMIT MISTAKES IN PAST BUT THE IMPORTANT THING IS HOW WE OVERCOME FROM OUR WEAKNESS  AND BECOME TRIUMPHANT.
